What is Photojournalistic Photography?

Photojournalistic wedding photography is a style of photography in which the photographer uses the available light, or an on-camera flash, to capture spontaneous/candid photographs. It tells a story rather than being a posed, or studio, type of photography. This style of photography is quickly becoming the preferred method of wedding photographers. Many photographers now use a combination of posed wedding photography, and photojournalistic wedding photography.

I really enjoy utilizing this form of photography as it really shows the emotion of a wedding day. I highly recommend this style for anyone who wants to get the most our of their wedding photographer.

Excited for the warm weather

I have been enjoying this weather so very much. Doing outside photographs is probably one of my favorite parts of photography. I am so excited for the flowers to start blooming. The spring is always so beautiful. There is something fun to photograph during every season, but I think spring is my favorite. The birds start coming out more, the weather is the perfect temperature, and people are generally excited to be outside more. I would say, in about 2 weeks, I should be able to take the step-kids out to do some senior portraits. There is a beautiful location just down the street from us that I am looking forward to utilizing. Also will be doing a family portrait session in about 2 weeks as well.
Just wanted to share a couple nature photographs from last year.
